Prior to vocational Christian ministry, I was a manufacturing executive with Baxter Healthcare, which had acquired our group, American Hospital Supply. After 10 years with Baxter, they spun our group off as Allegiance Healthcare, which was bought out two years later by Cardinal Healthcare. Confused? So was everyone else!
In 1995, after moving to Illinois, I became a follower of Jesus Christ at Faith Church in Grayslake. After several years in ministry, and completing my Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, I left Cardinal to help plant Northbridge Church in Antioch. After completing a 1 year church planting internship with Converge MidAmerica, Carolyn and I, and our 4 daughters, stepped out in faith and moved to Spring Grove in 2002 to plant Meadowland Church, where I was the lead Pastor. After 7 years at Meadowland, God open up an opportunity for us at Springbrook Church, where I currently serve as Associate Pastor.
My lovely wife Carolyn and I have celebrated our 25th anniversary, and we have 4 wonderful daughters. I love ministry, serving as God leads, am active with our conference leadership at Converge MidAmerican, and looking forward to what God has next for us here on earth in anticipation of heaven!
